In accordance with current copyright legislation, Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl recognizes and respects the moral right of creators, and the ownership of intellectual property rights, non-exclusively transferred to the journal for its open-access dissemination and preservation, thus the authors who publish in this journal agree to the following conditions:

1. Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl is published under the
   Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, which allows third parties to use the information and metadata on the Web page for non-commercial, as long as the source and the link to it is cited.
2. The authors of the works to be published in Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl can chose one of the three non-commercial Creative Commons licenses: Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International or Attribution-NonComercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International.
3. The authors retain the right to form other agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl, for example to include it in an institutional repository or to make it known through other paper or digital media, providing that it is clearly and explicitly stated that the work was published for the first time in Estudios de Cultura Náhuatl and the corresponding citation to this publication is included: volume, number, year, pages and DOI (Digital Object Identifier) of the work.
